We are glad that the Rakeback poker forums are getting this much attention and great posts. As a special thank you for all you users who are posting here, we are launching a Poker Thread of the Week promotion where one writer will be selected to win $100 every week.

Poker Thread of the Week rules

The promotion started now. We have selected the first threads, and the voting is going on in the PTOTW #1 thread on this same Community Awards forum.

Threads written during this week will be considered for nomination next week.

We will contact the winner to find out the best option. Direct transfer to a poker account should work fine.

Even though the jokes were great and I even added some of my own to a separate thread, the rules of the post of the week states the nominee thread must be poker related.

Its not random; we look at all threads from past week and try to select interesting poker related threads, especially ones that have got other users talking.

Try writing something thought provoking.

The results are announced each Monday at around 14h GMT, the new nominated threads are announced later that day.
