I wanted to throw my comp. out the window when the river came.
Probably one of the worst bad beats I have ever taken.

I meant one of the worst bad beats "after the turn"
Thought that that was clear.
Look at the fiend 34 his results, Im not running that hot at all...
We play almost the same sngs and he won way more than I do, and thats prob not because he is so much better.

rollercoaster ride there.
I thought the winking face at the end of my post would make you aware that I knew this is exactly what you meant. The bottom-line reality though is that you lost a 65% favorite hand. Yeah it sucks that he one-outted you on the river, but the action ended pre-flop, so as far as the "beat" is concerned, it was a 65% hand loss. Not a 2%.
He's played almost 30,000 games. I don't know what point you are trying to prove, but his ROI is only 5%. Your roi is 15%. With your much smaller sample size vs. his sample size, there stands a major chance that you are running much hotter than he is. You also haven't been running that hot in sng's... but you are running ridiculously hot in MTT's.
That's pretty hot.
Offcourse you are right about that, but I only posted the hand because of the turn.
I thought you were dissing me or something![]()
I think Im not running hot enough
As you can see, he is running good from the beginning...
I had a really tough start with lots of suckouts, I can tell you it was really sad.
So what I was trying to say is that maybe Im running hot now but not hot enough to compare it with my bad luck I had the past years Im playing on full tilt
Im a hot player![]()

I sometimes wonder out loud how you can be so successfull thus far when you continue to say the things that you do. I really want to hear some in depth strat from you, Specunder.
Think for yourself. Question authority.
What does depth strat mean?

Dew, it was a bad beat. It's a conditional probability, conditioning on what came on the flop and turn. It was only a 65% hand loss if you close your eyes and wait for the dealer to announce the winner at the end w/out looking at the board, but once you know the reality of the board and condition on it, then it is a 2% bad beat.
Otherwise, it really depends on how you define a bad beat (something that I've put serious thought into lol). Do you define a bad beat my hand strength preflop ignoring the board, or hand strength has it develops w/ the board.
Wow... so you are telling me that on a 4 diamond board on the river, where a really tight passive opponent has shown a bunch of aggression and you are holding AA (not either of which is the ace of diamonds) you would actually consider your hand strength as the strongest possible hand since it is the best hand pre-flop?
I'm easily in agreement with travz21 on this one.
i've edited this post 3 times by now lol. trying to be precise.
First, if you read my very first post, I thought you were referring to a question I posted on a different thread about AA on a 3 heart board.
Anyway, not sure what you're saying, of course aces don't look great there. I think travz clarified it to an extent, once you put your money in (not necessarily all in) w/ commanding lead and lose, that's a bad beat. But in a situation where you have AA against KK, a king hits the flop, KK bets/reraises flop and turn and let's say AA guy calls down, and hits 3 aces on the river. Is this is a bad beat for KK? That what I meant by how do you define a bad beat. I'm probably over analyzing the definition.

hard to tell what my exact strategy is, I guess experience and patience is the key.
I only play sngs where I have an edge.
lots of rebuy and add on sng's $5 and $10, I mostly finish in the top 4 with an average of 25 players.
I guess the fact that Im multitabling most of the times like 10 to 16 tables is giving me an edge to win more money in short time than players who only play 4 max.
Dont think Im an awesome player, there are just a lot of donkeys and newbys on the sng's where I play.
