I think I know why you call him a moron. That doesn't make him a moron though. As you know, UTG raises get huge respect. He only needs to steal the blinds and antes in this situation ~45% of the time to immediately break even. The UTG steal is used frequently by good MTT players. I have a couple friends much more successfull at MTT's than you that make their living by using this move. How have you not grasped this concept yet if you've won so much already? Running hot?

Because being a winning player usually indicates that you know the ins and outs of poker strategy. It has nothing to do with reading magazines or poker books. I've never read any poker books in my life. It has to do with logical reasoning. Anybody who is great with logic can become a winning poker player if they get enough experience.

I think experience is a good subscription for the fact that Im a winning player.
And good bankroll management offcourse.
I am pretty new with the high stakes but Im allready used to it now, first times I played the 69+6 I was very nervous to lose it and that definetly affected my game, now I dont see it as money anymore and thats very good for my play.
I also think that my play isnt explainable cause I never do the same thing and every hand is a different situation so it definetly has something to do with logic as you are saying.

UTG is the new Button !! I use the UTG raise an awful lot in MTT's once the bigger blinds and ANTE'S kick in.

I am not sure about the hand as played though. I probably just fold or push here.

As played though you can't really fold top pair regardless, given your SPR and so shoving is really the only option
