It looks better. One thing I don't like right now is the "User CP...Blogs...FAQ...etc" and the "LinkBack...Threadtools...etc" headers are really light. It makes it difficult to read. If they were all the same grey color as "View First Unread" appears, or as "Quick Reply" appears in... it'd be a lot easier to read. It's just that light grey background with white text on top that makes it difficult. But I like the new color/logo on top for sure.

Very nice, good job to whoever designed it.
If i might comment on one thing, i find it a little hard to read some of the words on top, due to the strong contrast. Also, I think the page would look nicer if there was a picture of something(a deck of cards,a famous player....) to the right of the "select country" box.
because its dark, it looks kinda empty (totally subjective ofcourse).
all in all its great, very spiffy looking.
Ogres and donks beware... i have a pitchfork!!!

Looks good. First off I had trouble to Auto-Log-in, but after I did re-enter my data all works fine.

The logo redesign project was up for a few design agencies, and the winning proposal came from Titanik Helsinki design agency from Finland. They did a great and professional job, and practically swept the floor with some other bigger name international agencies. If anyone happens to be in need of quality marketing or web communications ideas and production, don't be afraid to pitch them an email in English, even though their page is just in Finnish.

Thanks for the comments ballboy. Everything will be considered when we are planning for further changes.

I love it, but now my hat I had custom made is obsolete *cry* LOL just kidding... it'll only cost me $20 to get a new one made with the new logo Oh, man, I just thought of something else too... those patches we got... and decks of cards... they won't match anymore either... bah oh well I still like them and will still use them LOL Just have to tell ppl when they ask that the website looks a little different now

I wonder, would Rakeback ever consider creating a stream-lined mobile app so that members could access the forums from their cell phone? I mean, I can access it from mine, but it doesn't reformat to fit my screen, so it's cluttered and hard to navigate on the phone. Just wondered... it would make keeping in touch a lot easier when on-the-go.

Haha, I wondered this too... but I figured it would be a bad thing if I could access everything from my phone as well.

It looks very slick, you guys. Well done. I'm interested to see what it would look like if you took the background at the very top and also made it the background in the threads. Or something else entirely. Just something dark that goes along with the new theme you have. The plain white in the threads doesn't do the top of the page justice. I do notice the grayish tint that fades into white towards the top. That looks cool initially until it fades into plain white. I'm diggin the new logo, too.

And there's quite a few glitches while logging in for me as well when I auto log in. The home rakeback.com page gets totally rearranged and messed up too.

I have my bookmark set to go straight to the forum, so logging in from there has had no glitches for me. *yet*

Ok, that explains why I haven't been having issues. I auto log-in from my tabbed bookmark, but it brings me straight to the forum.

I have mixed feelings about the new layout... I like the choice of colors (Red, Black & White) better than the previous one, but on the other hand, I prefered the older logo. To me it symbolised the rakeback concept better than the new one, especially with the turned arrow. Now when I look at the new logo, it only has the initials RB and a spade on it. It could as well be the logo of some poker room or the initials of a poker pro...

Well, truth to be told, R B instantly links to Rake Back (maybe because I know it but what is it for someone who doesn't know the term ?) but I don't know, maybe I just need some time to get used to it...

If you don't know what the term "rakeback" means, you're probably not even a poker player to begin with. I liked the old logo too though.

I haven't check the forums for a long time and was surprised to see the new layout. It looks very nice. Good Job!

I especially like the "Don't Play Poker Without It" part

    looking good RB.

When I first logged on, I thought I went to the wrong site.

I like the black color rather than the drab green before.

    In any event nice job.
