    Default HUD Configurations

For those of you that use tracking software, what do you use for your HUD set-up (6-max/Full Ring/HU Specification is necessary)? I've recently started working on a config, so I'm curious what everyone else uses. When I get mine finalized, I'll share it.

    For 6max I used

    Hands/VP/PRF/3bet%
    Flop cbet/Fold to flop cbet
    WTSD%/Fold BB to steal

I was 14tabling nl50 6max for an extremely brief period, but I think these are the most important stats for long term players. I never got enough hands on people to make the middle line sensible to have, but it would come in handy if you get 1k+ hands on someone. And I have to admit that I didn't even look at my opponents' stats a lot of the time because I was flying around trying not to time out. I would usually only look when I was being 3bet/squeezed or when I was in a HU pot with them post flop.

For 9max I just had the same setup minus the middle line. I didn't have enough room to put those in there haha.

Edit: My HUD background was a darkish blue and my numbers were in darkish yellow font. I found this to be the best when multitabling. My FTP background was black, so if yours is different you might be able to find a more suitable color scheme.

Ok here is what I have. This is for full ring, as that is what I'm primarily concentrating on right now.

    VPIP/PFR/3-Bet/Hands
    BB Fold Vs steal/SB Steal/BTN Steal/CO Steal
Flop Cbet/Fold to flop Cbet/Agg Factor

I have each stat color coded too. Generally, the more "red" tint, the more conservative/tight the player, while green indicates the looser fishier player. So for VPIP I have 12% and under red, 12-30 white, and anything 30 and over is green. PFR= Red <8 White for 8-22, and Green for anything over 22.

The only deviation from this general standard is the Agg Factor. Which after some reading, I decided to go with a recommendation. Basically, I have agg broken down in 5 different colors with "warning" colors being the more aggressive solid player, until you reach the "aggro donk" which is color coded green.

The middle line isn't ultra important, but as I get more and more hands with "regulars" I think its important will increase. Also, it fits really really tight on FR tables with the extra line. But the only important thing that gets covered up is the section where "auto post/sit out next hand" boxes can be checked, but I just have to slide the box up slightly to check them, and then slide it right back down.

I'm still tweaking it some, but after 600 hands of it, I feel relatively comfortable with this set up.

Does anyone else even bother with custom HUD configurations?

I really recommend purchasing hand histories before starting any new level or format. You can get them really really cheap from HHDealer. Sorry if I'm coming off as an advertisement but I recently purchased 1M hands and am very pleased with the package for a small cost.

1 million? Jesus christ. I'll have to look into that when the time comes. Ty.

Agree, excellent value from HHDealer, had a subscription on a montlybasis and downloaded hands everyday.

OP, you could consider adding 4bet if you have a lot of hands, some calls a 3bet with QQ and some go all the way with TT 100%.

Not using a HUD anymore, I play better without one.

Wasn't even aware of the color codes until you mentioned it. Thanks.

I should say that a million isnt really necessary. In fact I only uploaded the most recent 600k into my database. I chose the cutoff point as the day the shortstackers died so there is no need to worry about getting old irrelevant hands. Even with 600k I have got 10-70k hands on most of the regs which is plenty for most stats to converge enough to make decisions.
