    Default You Were Right DEW

I'm just saying, if you think you have "cured" tilt, you definitely haven't

This is what you told me in the 6-max thread about a week ago.
Well....you guys can guess what happened to me....you are all correct-I TILTED.
I feel like shit now, losing 100$ from my 1700$ made me go nuts.
I kept going up one stake at a time looking for a big kill and I just feel crappy now, feel like throwing up now. I figured the best way to deal with my TILT from now on is to simply delete FTP from my computer. I deleted it and wont be able to throw more good money down the drain until I get myself back to a calm state of mind.
DEW, you get to say " I told you so" lol

    NEVER TILT GUYS, ITS BLOWS!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that bro. The way you were talking made it seem like it was only going to be a matter of time. Now that you've gotten that "I feel so crappy I just want to puke" type of feeling, make sure you remember it. Next time you start tilting, try to remember how crappy it felt. Like I said, I've been there more than once, and it's really hard to get back in the groove after it happens. It'd be best for you to take a really long break before returning so you don't diminish what you have left. The last time it happened to me I took almost an entire month off, and when I returned, I started out at the lowest stakes just to get back in it. Don't be in a rush at all to "get back your money" since it isn't yours anymore.

I see i forgot to mention numbers. I didnt lose. I caught a break.
I won the 320$+15 (or whatever it costs) super turbo SNG 9 man.
Cut a deal in the HU so im just about 150$ from the start, at around 1870$.
The funny thing is this big win (yes I know how stupied I am for playing that stake) sorta made me calm again. It kinda worked like a reset on me, like on the comp.
anyway, im trying to take things easy and understand why it is I cant play like most people.

    This would make more sense.

I dont think so Travz. I dont believe that most players tilt the way I do.
certainly not at the stakes I was at. For some reason I tend to see my BR as chips to play with, it doesnt quite feel real to me for some reason, maybe its because its online and its just a number. this doesnt help me when it comes to steaming and shooting up the stakes.

    This is so disgusting...

Average profit of almost 50% of your average buy-in, but an average ROI of -5%, and a profit of almost $2k.

yup, when I play well my ROI is much better though, its when i start doing funny stuff that it drops.
btw, how does one mesure ROI? and what does it mean again?
its a sweet little profit i got going there, but im playing super turbos and stuff like that because this is all proft.
I have deposited and thus am more inclined to play high variance game\formats. Im looking to make a lot of money quickly.

Great, i just tilted again earlier today and lost like 700$.
I was fortunate enough to win it back playing a 330$ HU turbo game.
My roll is now over 2K but im afraid of what to do next.
I know ive come asking for solutions many times and looked just about everywhere for the magical cure but I cant find it and I cant seem to find it within me to play without getting red like a tomato.

Since you won't force yourself to not move up in stakes, it'll just take losing your entire roll at least once before you realize it won't work out for you inevitably.

Also, check out the dude you played against. I highly doubt you were playing in a +EV situation.

    lol, i beat him though.
Just because hes a winning player doesnt make it an -EV situation.
playing HU against someone for the first time is completly neutral in my view.
We start as complete strangers, although he knew a few things about me but he doesnt really know how i play. I beat him after a long battle, also due to him disconnecting a few timesa for a little bit but I did manage to beat him.
DEW, about hi graph...mine looks quite a bit different im sure but when I play at those extreme highe stakes I play very well. the adrenaline rush gets me pumped up and I know i cant afford to make mistakes.
its those stinking super turbos that get me steamed up. for some reasnon i cant stay away from them and they are FTP's worst invention in my book.
I guess I play them because i can get bored sometimes from just playing the 0.5\1 shallow games, it gets tiring after a while.

I'm going to stop trying. It's pointless.

Edit: One more thing because I can't resist, even though I know nothing I say or show you will even matter.

It'd be neutral if I played Durrrr HU for the first time too. It might actually be +EV because I kinda know how he plays.
