Thread: Finally!

    Default Finally!

I was FINALLY able to get the new FT format to work on my laptop, and thus I was FINALLY able to check out the RUSH poker everyone's been all abuzz about. I have to say I enjoy it very much. I found out very quickly that the micro RUSH games are super easy. Granted, you'd have to grind for a while, but hell, as easy as it is one shouldn't mind it very much as long as he/she is patient. I only funded my account with a minute amount of money (since I don't spend much time on FT), but I'm already up after only +/- 200 hands. It's also a great way to earn FTPs very quickly.

This RUSH thing is perfect for someone like me who works 40+ hours a week and doesn't have a whole lot of spare time to play for very long at a time.
I see you talking but all I hear is blah blah blah

Nice! I'm glad you finally got it to work. I'm TICKED though that rush poker now has $0.02/$0.05. $0.05/$0.10 was so freaking soft, but I expect it to dry up some now that the really bad players can play rush poker for cheaper.

Don't worry Dew, I've just played it, it's still incredibly soft.

Good to hear you're able to play now You don't need to be patient though, just play 6max and your normal game. People fold looooooooooooooads preflop cos they can just move on to the next hand. Plus if you play more hands you inevitably get more postflop play and they're so easy to own. The only thing you need to be more careful of is other people's 3bets.

Yeah I noticed that a lot today while playing... and I agree with the others that the micros are uber soft, but I have grown to like soft at high speed... easy exploitation lol

Lol yeah. EV wise (even though I made more), I was making $10-$12/hour playing 4 tables, plus $4-5 in rakeback. Which for $10nl feels pretty good. Definitely enough that if I hadn't cashed everything out from FTP, I'd be still grinding it. Back while I was playing in it, it was definitely worth it. I am really glad you did finally get a chance to try it out.
