What range of hands would you be putting the villain on here? The river over bet shove was so bizarre, I figured this would be an interesting hand to discuss. With what hands would you call on the river?
From the villain's perspective, what hands do you expect to beat here that will still pay you off/what hands do you expect to get to fold? What hands would you make this over-bet with against a random unknown? Are you ever going to bluff with this shove against an unknown? Are you ever going to make this bet with the nuts against an unknown? When is this bet a good bet, and when is this a bad bet?
I’d just like a few people to comment as much as possible on the hand without knowing the hole cards…
thanks!
I'm calling with KT or better. It's always hard to gauge what the average fish value-raises with. Some fish will value-raise with AK on the river, completely oblivious that they're bluffing. Others might raise with any 2 pair, most of which would also be bluffs. Others will only raise with incredibly strong hands. It just depends what kind of fish you're up against, which you have no idea since it's Rush.
Think for yourself. Question authority.
