    Default Super-Turbo SNGs...The New Drug...

Okay so last week I tried the Super Turbos at Full Tilt I said to myself, " Okay I'm only going to play once and see if I like it." I tried the 1.50 sngs and won that one for 5 bucks or so. Then I tried another one and won that one too. Then it went downhill I was winning one every 20 games. With a bankroll of $50 bucks it took a big hit on me taking me down about half. I was getting frustrated I couldn't win these. So every time I would self-exclude myself from FTP. Then I finally came to my sense and noticed I was addicted to super-turbos. So what I did was use the advanced filters so I would see everything, but the super-turbos. Now I got my br back up and doing well without them. IMO they were just crap.

PS. Does anyone play them here?
Pss. Not saying Super-Turbos are new just saying they are a new thing that's sort of like a drug. Just in case anyone gets confused because of the name.

Understandable, superturbos (and fast tournaments in general) exponentially weight your luck over skill in the early stages of the game.

That's what I do, for both turbos and superturbos (and rebuys...).

super turbos suck ass! Don't play them! They seem like they are a good deal because the rake % is a little lower but there is less skill involved.

I play 1 session of about 15 or so of the $1's or $1.50's (I don't even know what they are lol) every once in awhile when I feel like gambling and I'm bored of cash games. I'd imagine the very best super turbo players can go on disgusting droughts of 70+ buyin downswings. I have no idea why people play them unless they can't make more playing something else.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.
