I'm just going to bed now. I don't think I'll get up in time with only 1.5 hours of sleep under me. Good luck.

I've deleted the rest of the password begging here. It wastes thread space.

The game was pretty interesting with at least one hand I found to be thought provoking. Waiting for the deal to be struck by 7 people was pretty slow and boring. I am not sure I'm a huge fan of deals with 7-8 people involved. I can see it when there's 4-5 people in the whole thing... or when there are 3 and it is winner take all. But it takes too much to get 7 people to agree on anything.
I get no respect. . . when I move all-in, people from other tables call.

About the deal stuff, well, most of us were present last week so it was only a matter of convincing 2-3 people to hit the "discuss a deal" button. Unluckily, when everyone agreed to discuss, only one guy gets to propose a deal and Esqueleto was found unaware of what to do. Hopefully, when everything was explained to him, a deal was reached and the play could resume.

I'm happy to finish in the 3rd place ^^

I agree Frob. A deal is nice when FTP makes the payout all to one person... or maybe if 4 people are left playing with 3 payouts... but anything else just seems pointless.

I don't understand what's pointless. If everyone wants and consents to a deal, they're only worse off had the deal not been available in the first place.

Btw, beware! The spammers have grown intelligent. One asked me for the last 2 characters of the password LOL. He probably asked someone else for the first two, someone else for the 3rd and 4th, etc. How dumb do they think we are?

    Thanks for tournament!

It's pointless because it's a SINGLE table tournament. It makes you look like pansies for taking a deal. If it were a big MTT it would be one thing. You guys are lucky I didn't play haha. Definitley wouldn't have been any deals.

Default Tournament Thanx and Making Deals

Thank you to Rakeback for the tournament opportunity. I was very surprised and it was fun!! I've made deals, or not, in many tournaments over the years, and to me it's always about the consensus of the people playing. I wish that others not involved would just keep their opinions to themselves. Nobody was strongly against it in this case, it took less than 5 minutes to do, and I suspect everyone was happy to have a small bankroll come their way. I won the tournament and don't feel cheated or wish there had been no deal made so I could have more money. It was a nice opportunity for all and my guess is nobody was kicking their dog when they got knocked out. It shouldn't always be about winning, because having fun goes a long way, too. Good job to all who played!!

But it was about winning, clearly, because you all wanted a piece of the cake. If it were just for fun nobody would care about making a deal.

My guess would be that this almost never happens anyway.
