Default I am the worst player ever.

Can someone please tell me why i play so poorly.

All I do is make hopeless calls and hopeless bluffs. I know better, but I so often lose my composure. I'm supposed to stop playing when I'm on tilt. Of course I never do. Also sometimes play when I'm too tired.

    I'm such a loser!

    I think I need a sports psychologist.

If the FT players weren't so hopeless I would be broke.

No you just need an index finger. Actually I once saw a guy with no arms play with his foot.

I played better this afternoon. Why can' t I always play well?

    Someone please help!

Of course it's a lot easier to play well when you hold cards. It's those 3-6 (or longer) hr periods when you can't win one hand. That is when I find it so hard to stay focused and lose the minimum. When I'm STEAMING!

I agree the duration of the game can be a factor if you are low on patience. I think this was discussed in another thread recently.

Dude, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you don't always get the cards. If you have a run of bad cards and have a lot less to work with, well, there you go. Bluffing can only take you so far.

The quickest solution would be to sit out and go take a quick walk outside, or something else refreshing. At least stop playing for a few minutes and have a soda etc.

Although I admit this is hard for me and I tend to play marathon sessions almost without any breaks, even when on huge downswings and tilty. But would make a difference if you learned to relax in between ups and downs.

Its very difficault to say without watching some of your play but you state a few of your leaks "hopeless calls and hopeless bluffs" stop doing that. I would recommend reading some poker books, search the net and even spectate some other players at work.

Could it be that you hope more to hit that actually have the right to play those cards and bet on them? I know I do that when I'm tired...hope more than the cards deserve to be played...
