Default Is this site for real????

I was told from a person I play at the casino about online poker and getting rakeback.com/">rake back and did a search and found this site. I choose to set up an account with full tilt poker and used their link and referral code just like they asked me to. Once I completed and set up an account with their code I got an email from rakeback stating I had been banned for life????????????? It seems odd that right when I set up an account with THEIR referral code I get banned. So I take it they are getting bonuses from me from full tilt now since I used their code and there is nothing I can do about it, or is there? Has this happened to anyone else?

    Hi ACM1981,

There appears to have been a problem with our forum software, and some users have received an automatic email telling them that they are banned.

No users have been banned, and we are investigating this.

Edit: The issue with banned -emails should now be fixed.

You gotta be careful which computers you use to play poker.

All the premeir sites are going to detect that fraud/collusion etc. came from one IP address. Im not sure how the technology works. But people who have signed up at internet cafes or in public computers which may be in some 'private' poker rooms often get their account(s) flagged.

It is true that poker rooms can and will close down duplicate accounts.

But the banning that ACM1981 mentioned was not about her poker account. It was our forum software that accidentally sent emails to users saying they are banned from our website.
