Coin tossing early in large field 1500 chip tourneys

If you put your opponent on 2 face cards is it correct to toss with a small pair in large field 1500 chip tourney???
Many times i find myself close to the bubble with an average stack, struggline to stay alive, and not really in a great position to win.
With a large field (say over 400) is it a good idea to coin toss in the early stages in 1500 chip tourneys to put yourself in a position to win?

all depends on the mood your in m8.
if your absolutly desperate for chips and have not been seeing anyhands i would go for it.
always try to move in when youve got a better chance. i hate flipping in tourneys, it takes off years from your life,, worse than smoking i tell ya.

Depends how much your tourney life is worth to you. If you're happy either chipping up or going home early then no problem coin flipping early, many do this as they view their winnings in terms of $ per hour. Nothing worse than being in a tourney for a couple of hours without ever building a stack only to limp out lamely before reaching the money. Also, it's ok to coinflip early on if it's a rebuy. If you dont want to go out early then you're better off not coin flipping and just play the patient game.

there is that 3rd option of simply not playing and saving yourself the serious heart ache of losing those painfull flips.
it will promise you a long and happy life, free of high blood pressure or heart disease.

Yeah, u have to give it a shot and early on a smail pair, vs two overcards gainst one plyer wud always get my vote and u have to do a flip early in a tourney with large field. Bubbling, and just abt surviving till there is no point poker.
