Soo... has anyone else heard about the Pokerstars Home Games? What are your thoughts on this newest development at Pokerstars? I'm not sure I see how it will end up being any different than any other private tournament. I don't know though - I suppose if you have a large poker-playing friend-base, then you could talk a bunch of them into joining Stars and playing with you - I'm just not sure it will end up going over as big as they think. Right now it's bustling because it's new and people love to try out new things. But too many people are too busy to all be able to get together at the same time all the time and play. I know all my friends work all different hours and play at all different hours, so it definitely wouldn't work for us. Besides that, if we want a "home game" we will play it live - not online. That's the whole point - to play together, face to face, have a few laughs, a few drinks, and a good time - in person.
