i guess if u have enough money, then you can do whatever you want, but the correct play to do is obviously..you do agree with that right?

"When You Start a MT Do You Start Aggressive and Call The All-In..."

Aggressive!!??!! Since when is calling aggressive? Betting and raising is aggressive... calling is passive. And in this case... foolish. Even in a rebuy, I am folding this garbage to an all-in. Although, in the right circumstances, I might be the one to shove all-in with it (in a rebuy)... note that being the person to shove is aggressive.

Man, my brain hurts now. I need a drink.

Aggressive is pushing at the right moments. e.g. you've got a good hand, the table's tight, you're playing with short bus riders.

The first hand of the tourney, and people are just itching to call you. So if you're going to push(like frob in a rebuy) then you need to make sure you have a decent leg to stand on. And then your not even guaranteed. As many of us have posted similar hands here.

If you're in a rebuy, no big. Just rebuy, but a regular elimination tourney. No way in hell with QJo.
Hell I had to think a good couple of seconds the other night before I called preflop all in, first hand of the tourney with AA. Not that it was'nt a good hand, but a lot can go wrong and in this instance it did.

Harrington covers these ideas and much more in detail in his second volume.

Default Free Roll Only

Only if in a freeroll could you even consider risking it all on the first hand with QJ suited. It is a in your sleep easy fold if I have paid one cent or if it is a nice paying freeroll like the RakeDaddy tourney. If in a normal free roll all bets are off on style of play and strategy as the tournaments are just fish frenzies.

There is no advantage to double or even triple up early in a multi table tourney. Even to triple up in a single table sit and go is an advantage, but still no guarentee you will even get paid (top 3). Large tournemants require many rakes to make it to the final table, you will have to survive several all in race type hands to survive, not many will get there playing QJ suited all-in many times.

Suited connectors, even AK are drawing hands.....
