Sounds about as bad as the hand I lost with yesterday evening...I can't remember all the specifics, so I'll just summarize it for lack of time and information.

.05/.10 NLHE 6 seated...

I was dealt AQ suited, ended up heads up with a maniac...Up to this point, I'd developed a very solid table image, hence why the rest of the table elected to fold to my preflop raise.

The preflop action was typical...I brought it up to 5xBB (I elected to raise more than the usual 3x due to the unpredictability of the maniac in an attempt to feel him out), and he elected to instacall. This didn't worry me much because he pretty much played every hand preflop, but the lack of a raise by him made me feel pretty confident that I likely had him beat thus far, as he loved to push huge preflop if he had something substantial...

Flop came off Q 8 2, no flush possibility thus far...

I bet about 3/4 pot, maniac raises double, I re-raise to double that, and maniac moves all-in almost instantly - At this point I put him on KQ or at best 88, as he varied his play so much that it was hard to keep a good read on him (+1 for him) LOL Anyway, I felt in my gut that he likely held a Q with a lesser kicker than I, so this initiated my response to his all in bet...

Anyway, so I think for a moment and call his all in bet, having him covered by 2.5x, I felt it was correct despite what I felt he had, and my read on him...

My hole cards: AQ suited
Maniac hole cards: QJ off suit

By this point I'm feeling pretty good, my read was dead-on, and as the turn comes off a measley 5...no help to him...no danger to me.

Then, in typical online fashion, he gets his Jack on the river for the winning 2 pair.
