Default Any interest in casual private tournaments?

Would anyone be interested in casual private online tournaments for rakeback.com users? For example on Sundays.

I'm thinking low or zero buy-in, with some added money thrown in by us. Only Rakeback.com users invited to participate.

Edit:Poll is closed and the first community tournament will take place Sunday September 23rd at Vegas Poker.

Rakeback Community Tour casual tournaments now have their own forum.

Looks like there is interest, so I'll contact poker rooms to find out the process of setting up private tournaments.

As we have many American users, the room should allow them to play as well. Possibly Full Tilt or Absolute Poker for starters.

Freeroll on FT? FT usually charges for those.

Good point. Although technically this would only affect "money that Full Tilt adds to tournaments". So if we would be adding the money instead of them, then no deductions would be made to rake or rakeback calculations.

that would be a great idea. I'd be up for fulltilt but would be willing to download another poker site to play in it. Would be fun to have it just for the rakeback.com players.

I'd be down, on FT. Even if it was a small buy in I think it would be fun

This is an old thread. Where is the free roll? Stay competitive in your business and have some free rolls already. Thank you.

There seems to be interest, so we will try to set up the first community tournament to next week's Sunday, September 7th.

We will only require you to be our customer, not specifically on the poker room where the community tournament is. The idea would be to make this a weekly tournament that visits all poker rooms that we are partnered with.

With for example Full Tilt, we are negotiating a separate and large monthly loyalty tournament, where only our active Full Tilt customers are invited in.
