Good job Lady. While not a fan of re-buys, I do like the one rebuy only tourneys on Merge network.

Thanks and I agree about the rebuys, but the timing was right for the amount of time I had to play, so I said what the heck.

Thanks all Can't wait for Wyte to see because he's the heads up guy LOL Going into heads up, I was down about 20k in chips compared to the opponent, but I knew he was pretty passive against me thru the last hour of the tournament, so I used that to my advantage and ended up winning. We traded chip leads a few times into heads up, but the entire heads up session lasted only about 6 minutes.

Here was the deciding hand in summary:

ME: 10 5o in the BB
OPNT: J 7o in the SB

OPNT calls SB, I check. Flop comes J 5 10

I bet big into him, he shoves over the top and I call (At this point in the game I had him covered by roughly 30k, and knew he likely had at best Jx)

I show 2 pr tens and fives, he shows pair Jacks with seven kicker...yep...thought so.

Turn 3, River 4...

Both say GG and that's all she wrote.

I honestly was very pleased with the opponent I ended up with Heads up. I had been thinking when it was down to 5 people that this was the guy I would want in the end, and I got what I'd hoped for. Not only was he a prime choice for heads up, but he was a polite player, and I always appreciate a good sport. As a whole the tourney went just about as perfectly as it could have, so I was very pleased.
