Default Choosing the proportion of chips for tournament & cash play

I'm about to order a 1000 piece clay ship set, to be used in home game tournaments and occasional cash games. Tournaments will mostly be one table sit and go, and cash games among friends have been roughly 50 buy-in and small blinds.

As I get to choose the quantity of each chip value, I am faced with the problem of choosing the optimal quantities.

So, any recommendations?

Here are the available values of chips:

I'm thinking of getting a stack of 25c and $1 chips to cover cash game blinds, and a larger amount of $5 to cover both regular cash game bets and starting blinds at tournaments. The rest of the chips should cover a regular SNG tournament structure.

Perhaps I should take a large quantity of $100 chips as they are used the most. But considering to skip the $500 chips totally and get some $1000 chips to cover large stacks and re-buys. $500 chips seem a bit useless, and its always more fun to raise by throwing in a stack of $100's

Any tournament chipmaster there that can suggest good breakdown of chip values?
