Default Fezet's Contest!

I need strategies on how to win in a Freeroll for any of the games below:
  • Hold em
  • Omaha
  • Stud
  • Razz
  • Horse

So post your best strategies on how to win a freeroll (for any of the games listed above), and in return I will give you 25 CHIPS (maybe more maybe less, it depends) if I think your strategy is good/helpful.

P.S- you dont have to post a strategy for every single game...

THERE ISNT ONLY ONE WINNER THERE WILL BE MANY!

Holdem is fairly hard to cash in a freeroll in. You need to learn how to switch gears and build a stack early on in the game. There should be no need to go all in first hand, but it's all about reading your opponits hands. Towards the beginning stages of the freeroll, you usually need to have premium hands after the river ro take it down. Try to build a stack about double the average stack by the break. Then, thats when you use that stack to your advantage, start to bully others out of there hands with semi-good hands. Like pairs, draws, ect. Once it gets down to almost the money (ex. if a freeroll pays top 100, almost money is 200), start to play tight. Let the small stacks take eachother out. Don't get in too deep and lose a lot of money. Once it's in the money, you can use any stratagy you want., as you made you goal.

Omaha is also fairly hard to win. It's basically the same stratagy as Holdem, but tere is one diffrence between Omaha Hi, and Omaha Hi/Lo. Omaha Hi is the same as Holdem, but Omaha Hi/Lo, has more of an advantage to you. Wait for big pots, make sure you either have the Hi hand locked up, or the Lo hand locked up. Then, you are guaranteed to make some profit. SLOWLY build your stack in Omaha Hi/Lo, and just keep this untill you make the money.

Razz is easier than the other games. Since it is limit, you can wait for premium hands, keep raising, and take down big pots. Same as Holdem, try to build a big stack earlie, and wait for premium hands. But Razz, you don't swtich gears as severly as Holdem. You keep waiting for premium hands in Razz. Once it gets down to almost the money, don't make the pots so big. Again, let the small stacks take eachother out, and you will make the money in no time.

Stud is the same as Razz. So is Stud Hi/Lo

HORSE games are WAY diffrent though. You need to be the best in all the games. Well, not really the best, but you can't be the worst at ANY game. Find the person's worst game, and use that to your advantage.

Hope this is helpfull, and can't wait for my chips.:P
