I voted 2 only because i might play a 6-9 person sit"n"go while waiting to play i a MTT tourney,& they sometimes overlap. I really don't like to play in more than 1 because it hard enough to concentrate on 1 let alone 2,3 or more.I think playing more than one is the reason people sit out or take so long to decide what to do (,ie call, bet, raise ,fold etc)I'll be honest here, I loathe players who continually wait to the very last second to decide their move.

generally like to play 4 max, usually all on different sites but have been known to accidentally get up to 7, lose all concentration at this level. The different sites idea appeals to me because each have their own idiosynchrosies and you play less marginal hands. It's also good playing different games as well because you really have to focus - read my blog Experimental work - Rakeback.com Poker Forums ![]()

I agree with 123bird and do not like the players who use all their time, every decision. Most of the time I search the cardroom for the slow players I find they are only playing at one table. They could be at other sites, but I believe a good amount of the time wasters are not playing multi tables, I think they are distracted by things like socializing, net surfing, or dealing with the kids or dog. If I play more than one table I am ready to act on any one of them and rarely use even half of given time per decision. There are times when a long thought process is warranted, but not every decision, especially at the limits I play at..........

i can do 2 easily enough, 3 or more going well freerolls are ok, but i would shut down a cash game if i couldn't watch it enough to get reads on players. what i hate is your so deep in one tourney another one on a completely different site is about to start. play the deep freeroll or sitout and play your cash game mtt hmm.

Hi all, I voted 3-4, Im playing 4 Sng continuosly and have just begun adding two more as the other games are going into the late stages. I have found Im playing a much tighter game this way and am not temted to play marginal hands as I have plenty of action going at one or anothr table. Also not so dissapointing when I bubble out as Im usually approaching or playing ITM on another table. ![]() I believe its one of the major advantages you have playing online. I would also recommend not mixing the games, stick to cash or tourneys in one form of poker. Last edited by fleabit1; 23rd February 2008 at 02:54 PM. Reason: Add the last comment

i used to only 4 table (i play small limits $2 and $5 18 man turnies) then i bumped it up to 6 table and i was more profitable. then recently i tried out 9 tabling on 1 screen, i found it works amazingly well for me. helps me be more selective on the hands i play.

| the smaller the buyin, 3-4 games at once the larger the buyin, no more than 2 games at once play to win and stay attentive

Currently playing 2 dropped down from 4 as experiancing a bad run and was getting killed tilting on 4 tables at once is a bad thing. If you every hear yourself saying "I know i'm beat but I'm calling to see just how lucky you got" you need to log off the poker site and browse youporn.com. You are well and truly 20 miles the wrong side of tilt!!!!!! work out your aggression on your old chap ![]() For the multitabling I recommend dual monitors, its the best and comes in very useful for other computer work.
