Default I've had some bad beats in my time but this one takes the biscuit

I can't quite believe what happened in the £10 on Hill this evening. I raise from 20 to 120 in the big blind with AJ and flop the nut straight There is a flush draw on the board, I whack it all in. This moron calls with – get this – K3. No flush draw, nothing. The board pairs queens, and I sit there horrified, struck dumb as a king hits the river. Unreal or what? He's less than 35% pre-flop and less than 3% after the flop.

Meh, bad beats and suck outs happen basically in every single poker session you play. It's how it goes, sometimes they cost you a lot, sometimes you get out cheap. Not to mention that every one here playing poker get their fair share of bad beats delivered, but the thing is that we don't tend to remember our own suckouts, only those where we get beat.

Fic i agree with you!!! online we see more hands than we would live, therefor we tend to see more suckouts/bad beats, and yes we forget the times we suckout on others. Its all part of the game, even if the guy/girl should have folded pre-flop, i just let it go and move on.

When this type of thing happens I get mad because my chips end up in someone else's stack before I can get them back from the bad beat...The guy who plays K-3 and stands a raise to do it isn't going to be around long and you know most players at the table are praying to play with that guy..Just be careful...anyone can catch AA when you are gunning for them..

Default I can't believe it happened again

InterPoker: 11.14: £5 + 50p Head Hunter, 104 runners, 20 places paid. I can't believe it could happen again. I call a pre-flop raise with A-10 and flop the nut straight with a flush draw against me. I end up all-in – three of us in the pot. The second guy, a big stack, has the same hand as me. The third player has K7 suited but no flush draw. And again a queen on the turn and a king on the river. That was too much. I survived an all-in shortly but ended up whacking it all-in with ace rag in late position and getting busted out. These morons really do screw up my head.

Hey guys,

I want to start a new post and this has to do with bank roll management and bad beats.

I want everyones opinion on how to deal with bad beats and bank roll repectfully.

It seems everytime I get a good at a table I run across a bad beat were my opponent was one out and it hits. This drives me up the wall everytime and I usually spin out of control and lose the rest of my bankroll. I know this type of beat happens in poker, and I am wondering if any one has any ideas on how to deal with it so I dont keep going ape bleep and losing the rest of my bank roll.

I have thought about buying a punching bag and resorting to that when this happens.

Please help!!

Remember this one:
Try to see poker as a whole: a game of variance and small margins. Making a move with a +EV will earn you money in the long run. When taking a bad beat, remember that, know you will make more than villain in the long run, and keep playing.

However, if you know yourself you will be able to feel tilts coming on. If so, just stop and live to play another day...

Good luck sir!

You have it in your power to turn a bad-beat around simply by realizing this simple truth: The more bad beats you encounter, the luckier you are. It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone. ~Lou Krieger~

Remeber that next time it happens , you will only get bad beats if you are playing well and putting your money in good , it's bad players who put their money in from behind and hope to hit it lucky who never see a bad beat , you really want to be playing these lucky types of players who put their chips in bad in general they will usually lose !
