| This one I got a kick out of. This was the 3rd hand of the tournament (11 players total so we're five handed on this table). 0 - Button: 1450 3 - Hero: 1485 4 - BB: 1520 7 - UTG: 1495 8 - CO: 1535 I am dealt K K and post the SB (5).BB posts 10, UTG raises to 35, fold, fold, I raise to 165, fold UTG calls. Flop: Q K 5 (Pot is 340)I check, which is not what I should do here but I do. I have played UTG before and know he's aggressive when someone shows weakness. UTG bets 350. I flat call. Turn: Q K 5 2 (Pot is 1040)I check again, to let this guy hang himself. UTG shoves 975 and I call 970. Turn: Q K 5 2 Q (Pot is 2980)My opponent turns over 5 5 and I take the pot. Set over set on the flop... brutal. I honestly don't know how he called the reraise pre-flop with 5-5 but I bet he thought he was GOLDEN when he hit his set. ![]()

On this hand, he was still playing solid, ABC poker. So I knew this flop hit him with that flop bet, I was hoping for set over set here but I was gonna play kinda passive until river, kinda like you would if you had Ace-face and thought that your villian was just Cbetting you. I could have raised his bet on flop, but that would have given off to much info about my hand on the flop, so calling was more +EV becuase it gave off 0 info about my hand. I knew I was gonna be called on the river no matter how much I bet because a lower card came off to the 9 and I was pretty sure now, that the nine hit him. If the 3 hit him, he would have bet into me on the turn (and I'd be all in regardless what he had there) but if he had a 2, He might bet for more information to see if his 2 was still good (and here calling WOULD give off information because your calling on two streets, you either have a big ace or pkt pair or monster that you are slow playing, so right here two of the 3 are BAD for pair of 2s). Soo this pretty much limited him to pair of 9s, and overpairs. He snap called the river overbet btw
