Default A on the River

Can anyone tell me what the % or chance or What ever of A hitting the river... Seems like if I have A big Pkt pair and raise some donk calls with A rag and hits it.... But in a live poker room never seems to happen????

My comment to that is, I think that online players play very loose and sometimes down right stupid, because there is no chance of getting confronted after the hand and also online chips dont seem as real as chips in a live poker setting. I hate it as well, but it will never change! I have recently been adjusting my play accordingly and it seems to be working. I play two completly diff styles in online poker vs. live poker.

Default Odds Calculators

There are many sites that offer odds calculators, you place the cards in the positions and hit the calc button. World Poker Tour website has one of these, you can put in 2-9 hands with any or no board cards.

Yes online seems to be much looser than a live game. Online is the wild west, tread carefully. People get very brave both with their chips and mouth online.

The odds will even out over time.

no doubt about it .. i have seen numbskulls go all in with A rag ever time... I call it "Any A will Do" LOL .. the bad part about it is every now and then they ht their A and the guy holding KK or QQ is pisssed... It has happened to me a few times.. I have a very intense personality.. lord knows what I might do in a live game... I just hope I can make bail after.... lol

I don't no what the odds are for hitting an Ace on the river, but in the last two live tournrys I played,I've been rivered by an Ace & knocked out

1st- I had JJ, he had AK - both all in, there was nothing on the table(no flush or straight draw, etc),River Ace

2nd -I had 99, he A2 I raised he reraised me all in ,Again nothing on flop, turn but River Ace
