Is winnings from a tournament illegal?

I wanted to know if internet gambling was illegal. Are there ways to win money with playing poker without it been illegal gambling?

Yeah, I realized that poker isn't illegal on the internet but their are restrictions on playing. It's really not gambling on the part of the player.

according to me any play which implies money is illegal but as me it is pleasant to play poker

Yes if it has to do with earning winnings that isn't taxed by the goverment. Well the it is illegal but this is a law broken all the time, and isn't as bad. I know police officers who do this.
