The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure's $100,000 Super High Roller tournament is in the books, and Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom (shown to the right) is the champion.
On the first day of this event, the 32-player field was narrowed down to an 8-handed final table, but only 5 of the final tablists would ultimately make the money. The lucky 5 ended up being:
Scott Seiver, Mike McDonald, and Humberto Brenes reached the final table of this event only to walk away from it $100,000 poorer.
Although Jonathan Duhamel placed ahead of Daniel Negreanu, he actually made less money because he re-bought after busting from the tournament once. We're very glad Duhamel cashed, because if he dropped $200,000 it probably would have made his already bad month even worse.
Viktor Blom is certainly accustomed to 7-figure swings in his poker bankroll, but considering he is known as a cash game player he seemed to take extra pride in finding success in a tournament.
