In the run up to the final table of the 2015 WSOP Main Event, last year’s winner Martin Jacobson features in a documentary about the route he took to win the $10 million first prize.
10 for 10 tells the story of Jacobson’s rise to poker glory, and the discipline that lay behind his success. The first part of the film is now available on YouTube, sponsored by nutrition company Natural Stacks.

Martin Jacobson began his career with a passion for cooking and trained to be a chef. At first poker wasn’t more than a hobby for him, but gradually he switched to take the game seriously and began studying.
Undeterred he went back to studying and returned to Vegas in 2009 to cash 8th in a $1,500 buy-in NLHE event. Then in 2010, he improved again to pick up 4th in Event 30 for $183,345.
His next big WSOP cash came in the 2013 WSOP One Drop High Rollers No-Limit Hold'em
$111,111 buy-in event. Sixth place brought him over $800k in prize money, and cemented a fearsome reputation that lacked only a WSOP bracelet to provide entry to the elite world of top poker players.
A year later he achieved the dream with an amazing technical performance at the WSOP Main Event final table.
This year’s November Nine are only a few weeks away from finding out who will succeed Jacobson as champion. Not one of them will miss watching this video to see if there is any tiny edge they can gain from the current world champion.
