PokerStars SCOOP: All Stakes 2009 update

PokerStars really is the place to play poker online; every kind of game, cash or tournament, filled with colourful players and action any time of the day. Poker tournaments are PokerStars field of speciality. PokerStars runs by far the biggest online poker series in the world like  the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) and the ongoing Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). Events like these draw all of who’s who from the online poker communities and even amateurs get deeply involved.

Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) – All Stakes has finally started on April 2nd. This series has a total of 22 tournaments and each will feature 3 different buy-in stakes, low, medium and high; meaning even those with meager bankrolls can participate in the series which will have a minimum $30 million prize pool. This means there are a total of 66 events in all. The 3-level pattern holds true even for the three main events – a two-day deep stacked tournament with buy-ins of $100, $1000 and $10,000. Satellites for all the events are available, including cash, Frequent Player Points and Steps Sit & Go qualifiers in the range of different buy-ins.

Day 1 offered two crowded events with almost 50,000 buy-ins; looks like the SCOOP will be a massive success. Now the events 1 through 12 have been completed, but there is plenty of action left.poker-vip-pokerstars-50-banner
