As of now there is just one live poker room in Maryland. Maryland Live Casino, located in Hanover, spreads a variety of poker games over 52 tables creating a ton of action. The Horseshoe Casino Baltimore is slated to open in August 2014 and will have a large WSOP sponsored poker room.

Online Poker Legislation

Maryland may be closer than other states to getting online poker regulated and could look to neighboring Delaware for a template, however laws need to be changed and that takes time.

For now Marylanders have no state regulated online gambling operators.
