Americas Cardroom Now Accepting Over 60 Cryptocurrencies

The Winning Poker Network, along with Americas Cardroom (ACR) and Black Chip Poker (BCP) are now accepting deposits from more than 60 cryptocurrencies.  ACR is the only US facing site with this option available.

ACR is not completely new to the game of cryptocurrency. They actually started accepting Bitcoin as far back as 2014. At the time this was a huge endorsement for Bitcoin.

ACR is now the first US facing online poker site to accept multiple forms of cryptocurrency deposits. Upon deposit of your cryptocurrency, the site will convert it to USD and add it to your account.

Currently withdrawals from the site can only be made in USD or Bitcoins. Eventually, all forms of the cryptocurrencies will be available for withdrawal as well.

In an industry where making deposits and withdrawals can, at times be difficult, especially for US players. The option to use the cryptocurrency of your choice may be the easiest and least expensive way to move money on and off the site.

ACR spokesperson Michael Harris had this to say… “We don’t pretend to be cryptocurrency experts, and we aren’t backing one over another. But anything we can do to embrace blockchain technology and help players enjoy the game is a big deal.”
