Online Poker In Romania – Do I Need a VPN?

For the initial download, a VPN be necessary. Online poker is only legal in Romania for local licensed sites, and as such internet domains of some dot.com poker rooms may be blocked.

While a poker room’s domain may be down, preventing new players from downloading the client, those who have already downloaded the software can still log in and play unrestricted.
