How big is PayNoRake?

Before it closed in mid 2016, PayNoRake was a RoW facing Chico skin alongside Tiger Gaming, also sharing liquidity with the US facing skin BetOnline. Those two skins remain open. In total the Chico Network has 2200+ active players with around a third of those in cash games at peak times.

Is it good value?

As the 3rd largest poker option for Americans (behind Bovada and Americas Cardroom) the Chico Network is known for its relatively loose, easy games.

PayNoRake Rakeback

VIP Information on this page is accurate as of September 1, 2016

UPDATE – PayNoRake is NOW CLOSED, however players can still play on the Chico Network via other skins. US players should join Betonline and RoW players should join Tiger Gaming.

At PayNoRake cash game players earn flat rakeback of 0 – 100% depending on how much they win and how much rake they pay. Rakeback payments are automatically paid every day shortly after midnight ET.

SNG / MTT players don’t earn rakeback and since tournament leaderboards are shared across Chino skins these players should join Tiger (RoW) or BetOnline (USA).

PayNoRake Rakeback Calculation

Cash game rakeback is calculated according to 1 + (Profit / – Rake), as a percentage, over a rolling 60 day period. Rakeback percentages cannot be outside the 0-100% range.

For example Player A profits $1000 over 60 days and rakes $2000. They’d receive:

1 + (1000/-2000)
= 1+(-0.5)
= 0.5 therefore 50% rakeback or $1000

Player B profits $2000 and rakes $500. They’d receive:

1 + (2000/-500)
= 1+(-4)
= -3 therefore 0% rakeback

Player C profits $500 and rakes $2000. They’d receive:

1 + (500/-2000)
= 1+(-0.25)
= 0.75 therefore 75% rakeback or $1500

Player D profits $0 and rakes $2000. They’d receive:

1 + (0/-2000)
= 1+(0)
= 1 therefore 100% rakeback or $2000

All four players end up +$2000 after rakeback.
