JNandez Plays PLO Cash Games on Coinpoker

JNandez has been creating poker content on YouTube for over a decade now, and has become one of the most well-known PLO pros in the game.
On a recent livestream, he sat down to play some PLO cash games, with the goal of showing viewers how to potentially make money online playing poker.
He played a mix of 4-card and 5-card PLO cash games, explaining the difference between the two variants.
The session produced some spectacular hands, including one particularly memorable pot that saw JNandez make a monster hand and get all the money in against a strong draw.
Straight Flush Draw vs Ace Flush Draw
The action started when the flop came 9♥10♣8♥ giving JNandez an exciting straight-flush draw, he immediately focused his attention on this hand.
His opponent “AllPartOfIt” checked on the flop and JNandez made a bet of 5.9 big blinds (BB). AllPartOfIt check-raised to 23.6BB.
JNandez with his straight-flush draw went all-in and AllPartOfIt called. AllPartOfIt showed an ace-high flush draw.
The board ran out with 8♠ on the turn and the river was the 9♦. It wasn’t enough for AllPartOfIt as JNandez won the hand showing Q♥Q♦J♥10♦ for a straight.
Hand Analysis
This was an exciting hand because JNandez had such a strong straight-flush draw but yet he was still vulnerable to his opponent’s flush draw.
The interesting part is the check-raise from AllPartOfIt. Once JNandez gets raised, going all-in makes sense because he has a straight-flush draw plus a Q-high straight already, giving him plenty of equity against a hand like an ace-high flush draw.
In fact, JNandez had 73% equity and the board ran out in his favour. The players actually ran it twice and JNandez won both.
JNandez made it look easy but in reality it was a cooler hand where an all-in was pretty much inevitable. One big draw versus another.
